From a Digg comment: when you feel yourself too inspired, or too self-insightful, try imagine your blogger next door posting a comment like "Dude, pass that shit."
For example, yesterday someone referenced Donald Crowdis (the oldest blogger) as a "surrogate grandpa". Reading Donald's blog is hard to believe he's almost 93 (tomorrow Dec 24 is his birthday). So I was almost to post on his blog: "Happy birthday, timeless friend."
But no one could have saved me afterwards from a "Dude, pass that shit" comment. I will post my best (and less naive) wishes to Don tomorrow.
P.S.: The title of the linked article contains an obvious typo ("lunch" instead of "launch"). If you are curious to see how soft is a large audience respect to a mere typo, read the comments. Most of them are very funny.

Per esempio, ieri qualcuno si è riferito a Donald Crowdis (il blogger più vecchio) come un "surrogato di nonno". Leggendo il blog di Donald è difficile credere che ha quasi 93 anni (domani, 24 dicembre è il suo compleannno). Stavo quindi per scrivergli "Buon compleanno, amico senza tempo."
Ma nessuno avrebbe potuto salvarmi da un "Ehi tipo, passami il fumo." Manderò i miei migliori auguri (e meno naif) a Don domani.
P.S.: Il titolo dell'articolo referenziato contiene un ovvio refuso ("lunch" [pasto] al posto di "launch" [lancio]). Se siete curiosi di vedere come sia tenero il grande pubblico rispetto ad un semplice refuso, leggete i commenti. La maggior parte è molto divertente.
